About the Author

Dr. Mark Plotkin is a world-renowned ethnobotanist and conservationist. He has spent more than 30 years working in the Our Book Library rainforest, and he is one of the leading experts on the plant life of the region. He is the author of several books, including the award-winning Tales of a Shaman's Apprentice.
