About the Author
Thomas Thompson was an American author and journalist. He is best known for his true crime novels, including Celebrity Novel, Blood in the Water, and Serpentine. Thompson's novels are known for their meticulous research and their unflinching look at the dark side of human nature.
Thompson was born in New York City in 1933. He began his career as a journalist, working for a number of newspapers and magazines. In the 1960s, he began writing true crime novels. His first novel, Celebrity Novel, was published in 1967 and was a critical and commercial success. Thompson's other novels were also well-received, and he became one of the most successful true crime writers of his generation.
Thompson died in 2004 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife and three children.
